Halo 5: Guardians parental review

87245961Halo 5: Guardians is a first-person sci-fi shooter.

VIOLENCE: Halo 5: Guardians features frequent moderate violence. Futuristic guns and other weaponry are used to kill enemies in combat, which can be aliens on humans, with a little blood but never any gore.
The more significant issue is the ‘assassinations’ the player can use, which are short stylistic attacks such as a knife being plunged into the enemy’s neck, and can be quite strong. However, the sci-fi setting reduces the impact of these: humans are covered head to toe in futuristic armour which stops any detail of the violence from being seen. The assassinations are also brief and pop up infrequently.

OTHER: There is some mild bad language (ass).
